The manufactures of "Golf Caravans"
including its various models such as "the
Outback", "the
Savannah", "Linwood"
and "Golf LT"
and other models under the collective branding of "Golf
Caravans" draw current and future owners attention to
the following facts:-
The company has built "RV" trailers since 1975 and
is well versed in the needs of travellers when engaging in
what is generally referred to as "Outback travel".
All our products can and will adequately cope with reasonable
conditions on gazetted roads whether sealed or not.
However, conditions will vary greatly, sometimes within hours.
It is the responsibility of the driver to make this assessment
"on the road" and adjust his/her driving (towing)
accordingly - if in doubt do not proceed and use a different
route, even if it means a long, long detour.
General dust, bull dust, rocks, gibber plains and the driver
- yes the driver - are the trailers potentially worse enemy
- no matter how experienced. We have enough outback travel
experience (since 1975) to have learned that much.
And by the way that is why we do outback testing year after
year. When in doubt slow down even right down to a full stop.
Better still, get a HF radio to gain access to
road and weather conditions not to mention assistance in a
medical and/or mechancial emergency.
Happy caravanning
